Respect Life Program

As part of the 7th and 8th grade Respect for Life program the students participate in pro-life t-shirt week by wearing pro-life t-shirts.

The Respect Life Committee actively promotes a culture of life

by participating in the following activities:

Sponsor the SPIRITUAL ADOPTION PROGRAM at Holy Family School which includes daily prayer for the unborn, baby development posters, essay contest, speakers, monthly reminders and t-shirts

Sponsor the NEWBORN BABY DRIVE at Holy Family Church and School which provides necessities for women in crisis pregnancies

Serve as GABRIEL PROJECT “ANGELS” helping moms on an individual basis before and after crisis pregnancies. For more information visit: www.fwdioc.org/ministries/respectlife

Represent Holy Family Church at the annual MARCH FOR LIFE in Washington D.C. every January on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion

Volunteer for and participate in 40 DAYS FOR LIFE prayer vigil at Planned Parenthood every fall. Parish sign-ups are usually the 2nd or 3rd weekend of September. For more information visit: www.40daysforlife.com

Facilitate parish participation in the PRAYER FOR LIFE by providing the blue prayer cards in the church

Support parish efforts to educate parishioners about Respect Life issues and events by providing bulletin announcements and inserts

Coordinate parish youth participation in diocesan pro-life activities such as the annual PRO-LIFE BOOT CAMP and the LOCK-IN-FOR-LIFE

Participate in the ROSARY FOR LIFE at Holy Family Church the first Thursday of the month, 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.; organize parish prayer at Planned Parenthood on the fourth Saturday of the month
